6:28. ನಂತರ ಇಸ್ರೇಲಿನ ರಾಜನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ತೊಂದರೆಯೇನು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು, “ಇವಳು ನನಗೆ, ‘ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು. ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು, ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ತಿನ್ನೋಣ. ನಾಳೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನೋಣ’ ಎಂದಳು.

6:28. ಅರಸನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ದುಃಖ ವೇನು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ನಾಳೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನೋಣ ಅಂದಳು.
